Creative therapy....

Thank you all for your kind comments on my sad news. It has been a hard weekend, a huge part of my life has gone. My bond with George was very close, he was my cuddle monster! He had a number of long term ilnesses which we cared for on a daily basis. I miss him so much xx
I didnt make it to the Craft Den class last week, thanks Mary and Lynne for thinking about me, they brought the Class kit home for me. I knew straight away that I had to do a page for George but I didnt want it to be sad. It has helped me to gather my thoughts whilst being creative, I even enjoyed cutting the flowers out??? I know, Im not feeling myself at the moment!
I loved the sparkly feel to the page just by adding stickles to the lovely Bo Bunny paper. I have hidden some journalling behind the main photo, it was very therapeutic to write my feelings down at this stage but didnt want people to read them now.

Hi Joe!! Love the layout of "George" it's just so beautiful you have had loads of therapy with all the cutting out, so we know the page is just full of love!! Obviously he loved having his photo taken. You have such great memories of him and you made the years he was with you perfect "no doggie" could have asked for more!! Hope to see you soon Love Chanelle xxx

I agree with Chanelle, you made the years he had with you happy with the love you gave him. He does look like a bit of a poser on his photos. Love the hidden journaling, very special. I bet Daisy & BJ are missing him too. Love Sandra x

A beautiful LO with lots of lovely memories for you. I don't think you ever get over it you just learn to live with it and the memories just as if it was a human. I agree with Sandra Daisy and BJ must be missing him too. I hope your beautiful crafting helps you and as you say it's therapeutic.

Lovely to see you being able to use crafting to help you over the weekend and to celebrate the time you had with George. He looked a very happy boy with you. In time the happy memories will be the first thing you think of instead of sadness. Hope Daisy and BJ are helping with the cuddles. K x
