On Saturday I attended my monthly sewing day at Quilttime. This month we were making quilts for
Project Linus . The Charity provide a sense of security and comfort to sick and traumatised babies, children and teenagers through the provision of new home made patchwork quilts and knitted / crocheted blankets. Here are a selection of quilts that were handed in on the day, my friend Norma made 11 of them, she's a star!

Here are some more that were made on the day. Each member had made a number of patchwork blocks over the last few months, then on Saturday we put them together to make up the quilts.

I have been working on making a quilt over the last few months for Project Linus which I took to finish on the day but I got carry away with taking pictures of all the lovely quilts that I didnt take a picture of mine! I will take a picture when it is totally finished!
You might have noticed a item at the top right of my blog? I am running Race for Life this July in Worksop in aid of Cancer Research so if you would like to sponsor me I would be ever so grateful. I completed my first practise 5k run this morning, it took me 37 minutes!
