Ive been meaning to share George's story on my blog for a while, so here goes. I fostered for a charity called Bullies In Need. Our first foster only stayed a day, she had already found a forever home and our house was just a pit stop on her journey. However our second foster.....I had a called from the charity organised Ann, a family were going through a bad separation and the dog was surplus to requirements! A member of the charity had been and assessed him in his home and he was a big cuddle monster. He had a few medical problems which were not being treated due to lack of money, the priority for the dog was to get him back on his medication for an underactive thyroid as he had no energy and struggled to walk round the block with the assessor.
I collect him from his owners at a service station on the M1. He was gorgeous....so cuddly! After his first trip to the vet we knew he would be with us until he was fully recoperated. Over the next 2 weeks his energy levels started to pick up and he was a totally different dog. I couldnt part with him so I became a member of the failed fosters club!
He has been with 3 years. He is now 10 and I couldn't imagine life without him!
